racing & tryin' to keep up with the times
driving is like a drug
whether your on speed or on slow downers
it's a race from outer space
you could live or die
spinning round from city to city
never giving pity to the golf cart drivers
tryin' give you a smile
keep em white as a brush meets
a cold beer & a tasty chocolate bar
moneys on the line when she doesn't have the time
if you're lookin' for a rhyme
better google your phone
my pole is resting on her lip
always looking for a hook
family is important to me
honour my Mom & Dad
love my personal upbringing with my brothers & sisters
my children i could never be prouder
as the streets get louder
with the chatter of noise & sirens
unpleasantness ringing in my ears
i hear a cry i can't ignore
desperation is a pill i could never swallow
her heart is a beat only a drum can follow
no one said life was easy
better take a good long look at this picture of life
there's a Man who collects
silent cries a camera could never capture
no lies just promises
