she lives on the highway
she moves faster than any Porsche that graces the road
the plants she leaves behind
are getting legal in some states, marijuana is in the air
dressed up messed up
the stars will make her a part of the cosmic galaxy
the moon is too lonely tonight without her
she's on her way
she's going to the ball
silky panties under her brazen dress
she always looked good in red
eyes draw you
a picture frozen in time
smiling lips to move you
we all have problems
maybe that is what makes us stronger
we're closer to the new world we've heard about
there's good biographies to read
the golden Book read about the Man upstairs has to say
music lingers in twilight
so much energy so much still to say & learn
and i can see her on her way
she can't help but find herself at the ball
mirrors on the ceiling & walls
she can't hide
she's made her bed
the candle inside her will burn forever
her memory will never falter
