visit relatives & attend Pow Wows
Grandma Rose Hand had us sleep over at her home
our Uncle Chuck Snow sang & played
the drums & represented the Arikaras
gypsy suite: is how those trips
have a travelling bone in my body
it comes natural for me to be going 80 mph or more
once got from CA. to Fl. in 49 hrs. power naps in between
paid a visit to Tulsa Ok. to see the Roberts family
back in 83' my brother & me motor cycled
on his Night hawk from S.J. to San Bernadino to see the US Festival
to this day
i live like a gypsy never too long
in the same city or state for long
deep in White Shield where my Mother & me stood
the scenery & sweet smell of sage in the air
traveled on Greyhound from Tampa to Orlando
to see Page & Plant paying respect to Zeppelin
not a surprise
that Jesus did some serious traveling himself
gypsy traits is genetically passed unto me
my Dad traveled the world
my Mother's handmade star quilts where sold out
in various towns & cities throughout North Dakota
my family always keep the gypsy band on the road
