FILTHY RAGS

us kids grew up in Southern California
our Mom read the Bible to us
she was always an example for us including now
when i was young their were Bible Stories 
to read & to learn & to direct my life
but time & talent was the key to my future
GOD in His Glorious Heaven was always there

yes but i'm just filthy rags
just a sinner with faith & a true believer
always living for the truth
there's no compromise
my mind's made up
i'm just filthy rags

everything i do is secondary GOD is first
Jesus is the beginning & end
Son of Man & Son of GOD
i'm just a vapor & made of clay
being molded for good use
free to express myself
free to be me
free to be with the One who loves me
