Native Americans were singing & mourning
they knew a Great Warrior was sacrificing
similar to their own sacrifices
we held our own celebrations & ceremonial dances
people who died were set up to the Wind
we knew our brother made a great victory
on that Rugged Cross
Jesus took you me & everyone to that Cross
He was raised in a Jewish family
ABBA Creator made flesh
but His ways were Native
very giving sharing & healing
fed the poor
took care of the outcasts
raised the dead open the eyes of the blind
Our brother Jesus
same colour skin Red
His beautiful mother Mary
like Eve would bring forth living
to all human flesh
we move towards the dawn
we awaken to a new birth & future
