i'm 1/2 a century old
my flesh is desiring the dirt from the Earth
but my soul is like a ufo
searching for a perfect star

younger years, like light years
had some women, had some love pain
she stands there in a Venus all her own
she took me deep inside her
where i never quite got over her
my Dad died of prostate cancer
my Mom died of interstitial lung disease
but their memory lives in my heart forever
their legacy, they gave us contribution
my Dad volunteered in the Korean War
my Mom sacrificed her body
to raise seven kids
her prayers & her love keep us alive today
comets come comets go
shooting stars zoom across the Milky Way
people wish in the Wishing Well
people cry
people die
we're born to start again
the circle will bring us & the animals back
